Who we are
Pacific Audio Visual Institute is accredited under the Private Career Training Institutions Act of British Columbia [PCTIA]. We currently offer diploma programs in Audio Engineering & Production, Film & Digital Arts, Film & Music Business, and Game Design & 3D Animation. PAVI differs from other institutions in that we teach within the environment of an operating, full-service, world-class studio complex.
Students receive personal attention and train on ‘industry standard’ equipment. Programs focus on developing the knowledge, skills and technical expertise required to achieve successful employment. A proven combination of theory, technical instruction and ‘hands-on’ training creates graduates that have the drive, focus, manner, expertise and creativity necessary to succeed.
Statement of Purpose
Pacific Audio Visual Institute provides an educational environment conducive to the creation of audio and visual experts. But we believe that technical skills alone are not enough. Students should graduate having learned that sensitivity to the creative process and the manner in which they interact with others is equally important.
PAVI provides outstanding curriculum, instructors currently active in their field and world-class facilities while ensuring that each student is treated and related to as an individual. Our programs focus on developing the expertise required for successful employment through our proven combination of theory, technical instruction and "hands-on" training.

Where we are
Pacific Audio Visual Institute is centrally located in the heart of Vancouver, just one block off the Broadway bus line and a short walk from the Main Street SkyTrain station. We’re a 15 minute drive from the Vancouver International Airport, five minutes from the downtown core and surrounded by secure residential neighborhoods, restaurants, hotels and entertainment.
