Meryl Pataky is a silversmith, welder, painter, teacher, and neon sculpture artist currently living and working in San Francisco, California. Pataky received her Bachelor’s degree in sculpture from San Francisco’s Academy of Art University. Although her work centers on neon sculpture, Pataky also enjoys creating work from found objects, paper, steel, metal, and organic objects. Her neon work has incorporates language and design, calling attention to the art of communication and typically focuses on a personal narrative about the nature of life.
