Jeremy Laing is a rising fashion designer living and working in Toronto, Canada. His eponymous label was launched in 2005, and his career includes an apprenticeship with Alexander McQueen, contributing freelance designs for five of McQueen’s collections. Laing studied in Toronto and completed an exchange program at London’s Westminster University. His designs have been presented at New York’s Fashion Week, and Laing was a finalist for the 2011 ANDAM Fashion Award.
Considered a minimalist designer, his clothing offers geometric styles with signature angularity and custom print designs. He has collaborated with artist Scott Treleaven to create designs and prints that cement his work as an artist and not just a designer. Inspiration comes from anywhere, whether it’s from utilitarian work uniforms to industrial metalworking factories. Laing creates clean, minimalist designs with an edgy, modern twist.
