Jeremy Cowart is an artist and photographer living and working in Nashville, Tennessee, and Los Angeles, California. Cowart began his artistic career as a graphic artist, but began taking photographs in 2005. His first exploration of photography was used to give added texture to his work; however, Cowart soon realized that photography was his passion. Since 2005, Cowart has become an internationally renowned photographer and humanitarian. His clientele includes celebrities Heidi Klum, Gwyneth Paltrow, Tim Tebow, the Kardashians, and TaTim Tebow, the Kardashians, and Taylor Swift, as well as several broadcast companies including ABC, FOX, A&E, and more. His work has been published in Rolling Stone, USA Today, and TIME among others.
Jeremy Cowart also produces documentary photographs for humanitarian projects, which takes him around the world. Some of his most notable humanitarian projects have involved trips to Haiti and Africa for various charitable organizations, including Hope International. Cowart also founded the Help-Portrait worldwide movement, which encourages photographers to give back to the community and to those less fortunate, and has run various Twitter campaigns to raise awareness for human rights issues. As a result of his humanitarian work and artistic career, Cowart has been featured on the TED Talks lecture series and CNN.com.
