David Stoupakis (born 1974) is a painter currently living and working in New York. A Massachusetts native and son of artistic parents, David recognized his artistic calling at an early age. He is a self-taught artist and once worked as 2D/3D Animator Artist for the gaming industry. Now, Stoupakis focuses his energy on painting. His work is characterized by dark colors, surreal images, and identifies with Goth culture. Through his paintings, Stoupakis explores such themes as death, life, God, birth. He has created album artwork for the bands Korn and Haloburn. His work is also included in Metamorphosis 2, a collection of 50 contemporary artists by beinArt Publishing.

Stoupakis’ work has been shown in group and solo exhibitions in Los Angeles, New York City, Berlin, London, Cannes, Denver, Miami, Brooklyn, and more. His accomplishments include being chosen as one of 50 artists to paint a tribute Dean Guitar for the late Pantera guitarist Dimebag Darrell. He is also the recipient of IGN’s Best Album Artwork for Korn’s See You on the Other Side. Stoupakis has been featured in Spin, Revolver, Guitar World Magazine, Rolling Stone Magazine, and many other publications.
