I was a businesswoman and travel writer until 2002, when I retired and started making pottery. Two years later, I decided that painting allowed me more control of my palette. My paintings are inspired by my love of nature's colors, textures, and of open space, which we are rapidly losing. My work can be seen on my website, www.lauriemacmillan.com.
