About:
My name is Krystal Riley and I'm 19 years old. I've given up a lot the past couple of years, moved from my little trailer park in Colorado when I graduated High School and settled with my best friend here in New Jersey. I've been working ever since and despite my efforts I still have pretty much no money saved. Now don't get me wrong, I don't spend it on clubbing or what have you! I say I gave up a lot and have gone through a lot because of my mother, who still resides in the Rockies. She has Multiple Sclerosis and had/has always needed my help whether it be financially, emotionally or physically. With that on my shoulders and the responsibility of paying rent two ways the challenge seems to never stop.

Interests:
My interests are drawing, video games, working, working, working.

Aspires to:
Well, I'm an aspiring artist and am trying my damnedest to raise money to go to school. Most if not all of my work is done by hand, with little to no help from software programs and I'm trying to reach my goal in attending a school that focuses on that exact area. Specifically the Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art. I believe having the basics, using only your hands with a pencil and piece of paper are what give you the talent to move up in everything you make creatively. That school teaches the fundamentals and how to be quick about it, not to mention once you know cartooning, deadlines, the business, and everything there is to know about the industry...It's the best you can hope for. Since my interview with the school, I've found that I still need $7,500 to cover. This means I won't be attending the school this year but in the alloted time I have, I'll try entering competitions like this to see where it leads me. Although I've had the goal to go to this school since I was sixteen years old, it seems during bad days that I might never do it. That my passion, what I want so badly won't come true. With no support from my mother financially, and being on my own you can see how that can get a girl down of course. Either way I'm determined to take this road, and try as hard as hell to get there where I want to be.
