This course focuses upon two-dimensional computer aided drafting. Emphasis is placed on mastering the drawing and editing commands, screen navigation, dimensioning, using text, creating layouts in paper space, and saving in different file formats for plotting and transmission over the Internet. INT 130 ARCHITECTURAL DRAFTING
In this course students are introduced to basic drafting techniques, terminology, and symbology used in design, including use of equipment, lettering, and orthographic drawing. It also explores the use of freehand sketching and rendering techniques. This course is a prerequisite to all interior design studio and technical drawing courses.
INT 258 INTERIOR MATERIALS
This course examines the characteristics and selection criteria for the identification, use, and evaluation of interior materials, finishes, and treatments. Also discussed is the impact materials have on human beings and the environment.
INT 232 WORKING DRAWINGS
