Alana Tyler Slutsky is a fashion photographer and active blogger currently living and working in New York. An elective photo class in high school kickstarted her passion for photography. Slutsky started college majoring in advertising and public relations, however, she soon realized that she wished to pursue studio art and photography. She completed courses at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. Slutsky’s work has taken her many places; she has worked as a Junior Photography for the Ralph Lauren Library, as well as an intern at Milk Studios as a photo retoucher. She continues to develop her unique style, finding new ways to highlight fashion in photography by playing with light and contrast.
Slutsky’s work has appeared in various publications, including Entertainment Weekly, British Marie Claire, Glamour, and more. She has also worked with Santiago & Mauricio, Andrew Yee, and Melissa Rodwell.
